This recipe is a great way to prepare tri-tip to serve over a salad or with roasted vegetables.
Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Tri-tip Roast
½ cup balsamic vinaigrette
1 ½ tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
Combine vinaigrette and mustard in small bowl.
Place Tri-tip and ½ cup of marinade in a Ziploc bag (or other food safe plastic bag) and turn to coat. Close bag and let marinate for 15 mins to 2 hrs
Stir honey into remaining marinade to make dressing. Cover and refrigerate for later.
Remove roast from marinade and grill (approx. 14-16 mins for medium rare) or bake at 425 for 30 to 40 mins for medium rare, 40-50 for medium
Let rest 5-10 mins
